My work wardrobe needs a few new pieces and after searching for skirts and dresses that I can wear everyday (and failing) I have decided a new jumpsuit is the way forward.
One of my only requirements (apart from it bring navy) is pockets! I need somewhere to keep my swipe card. (vital)
Today I tried this navy jumpsuit from French Connection and it does look very nice. I have found another two potential candidates so I will try them all.

This ones just beautiful, navy velvet what could you want.

This one is very cute and a great price point.

This would be perfect for me in work (personal shopping) or for a wedding (after all its the season is starting), just change the shoes. It would look just as good with sneakers as it would heels.
Whistles Mae Frill Jumpsuit £175 here (Currently £140 20% Off)
Yesterday I bought two pairs of Zara flowing trousers without trying them on and hoping that they would be good enough to build some work outfits (personal shopping). I bought navy and black as I couldn’t decide, I do love navy but black can be easier! They are £9.99 a pair and are available in four colours MUST HAVES. What made it better it is I had the cash in my purse which other wise have been my lunch money for the week.
I was so surprised when I tried them at home as they are great and I have numerous tops and shoes to team them with.

I am completely obsessed with the Gucci geek look but the price tag can be high. Whilst browsing in marks and spencer today I spotted this little outfit which will nail the look. It is perfect for the party season as you can can go from the office to the bar without a worry.
The shoes are real but they will serve you well with every outfit for many years (maybe not every outfit but ALOT)
M&S Collection Jacquard Crew Neck £29.50 here Autograph Velvet Culottes £55 here Gucci Metallic Loafer Pumps £495 here (these pumps will serve you well with so many outfits)
Ever since I tried these Whistles side striped trousers (they didn’t suit me) I have been obsessed with finding a pair that I love just as much but suit me (crucial obviously)
There are a few pairs on the high street that I have tried (mostly today) and have huge potential, including a velvet pair of wide leg pants in marks and spencers (they don’t have side stripes but are very nice). I have to say there will be a post in the next few days just about how good marks and spencer are at the moment. (huge number of must haves)

I spotted these trousers when I was buying food in marks & spencer, they are navy blue (also available in black) with wide white stripes down the side. For me they would make perfect work trousers teamed with a fine knit and sneakers, comfortable but cool.
I haven’t tried them on yet but today is the day!!

I always love a Whistles jumpsuit (I may already have one or two) and this one is no exception. I would wear it with pumps for work as I do a lot of walking in personal shopping. (see below)
It is also a great transitional piece as it will look good with a fine knit when autumn arrives with cute flats ( I am thinking my sparkly Miu Miu’s) or ankle boots.

Kurt Geiger Lupo Silver Platforms £89 here
I think these pumps will work amazingly well with this jumpsuit.
