Shopping at Whistles is always a pleasure as there are so many gorgeous things to choose from!! At the moment I love the pink slogan sweat saying “je voudrais” very cool! They also have one of the best pairs of this seasons “poolside slides” sandals which I featured a few weeks ago the Maya Gladiator sandals, I love the silver pair featured below but also the green which is yet to come.
I couldn’t just choose just one outfit so I chose three, I have to say there is a lot of wishful thinking here!
As I was wandering around House of Fraser today I spotted the Italian Brand Liu Jo. They have super stylish clothes with a bit of a twist and there are definitely some great basics that would work nicely within your wardrobe. If you haven’t paid them a visit yet then you need too. The brand website address is www.liujo.com but the collection is available in House of Fraser stores and online. I have chosen my favourites here.
There is nothing quite as versatile as a short flippy skirt and it makes a great transitional piece. This selection will look great with any of the seasons ankle boots and you can show off your legs either bare or in opaques.
Wear them with a simple tee now and you just need to add a chunky knit for the autumn.

There are so many of them out there at the moment and I think there is a shape and length for everyone. I love pleats but being quite small they can bury me but I know that with a bit of experimenting I will find one I love.
I think my passion for pleats started yesterday when I included the leather skirt by Alice & Olivia, that was definitely a case of love at first sight.
