Looking for summer sandals then look no further………………..

Sophia Webster never disappoints me, I have managed to make a tradition of taking a new pair of sandals to Lima with me every year. They are always work so well with shorts, dresses, pants and a great tan.  I will probably wear them  all for years as they never date but it is lovely to have a new addition in my suitcase for each trip.

These are all new and I love them all!! Decisions decisions …..

Look of the day keeping it very casual in mule sneakers……

I just had to find an excuse to use these gorgeous sneakers I do love Sophia Webster. These white Lilico Jessie mule sneakers are just wonderful, I could wear these on really busy days (personal shopping) I know I would be so comfortable but I would still look so cool Result!

My Lima Dreaming countdown it is a colourful market day…………………

Not very long to our annual trip to Lima now and I am so excited!  Peru is full of colour where ever you look from the blue skies to amazing flowers but the local markets are also full of treasures.

Lima Dreaming an Update|South American Adventures|

Another week has passed in a haze of sunshine and sea at the beach. I can report that tan is building nicely although it is very hot and the sun protection is high.

We start our days with fried eggs and a delicious juice in the local market, for me it is always melon, they taste like nectar.

After that is usually a few hours on the beach and later maybe sometime in the pool. I haven’t ventured into the surf yet but I will this week unlike the King of Peru who surfs everyday.

The days are very lazy at the beach but on Friday we always head back into Lima for the weekend to escape the crazy crowds that head to the beaches.

Life in Lima is more hectic with lots of walks and cocktails to help with the heat!!

Hola from Lima I am dreaming no longer and its wonderful…………..

After all of the usual countdowns that I put myself through every year I am finally enjoying the annual trip to Peru. I arrived a week ago and it is already a wonderful adventure.

I was lucky enough to fly with my favourite airline KLM and in business (the perks of flying between xmas and new year when its empty!!) so it was champagne all of the way. As always the crew were fantastic and I certainly cannot complain about the food it was yummy.

A small view of the day champagne and my travelling companions, Isabel Marant and Victoria Beckham!

My first day in Lima was New Years Eve which meant a long weekend in the city, everybody heads to the beach for new year here  so we DONT

Our first meal out is usually at La Tiendecita Blanca a Swiss restaurant in Miraflores, its always been one of my favourites as I know I am safe in their hands! They also make the best Lomo Saltado which I love!!

The Whistles tee says it all Tres Bon a Cuba Libre and a Pisco Sour before the food.

Being in the city has meant a lot of walks around the coast line of Miraflores and Barranco it is so beautiful looking at ocean in the sunshine, the distance flies by. On Sunday we found ourselves in Barranco a very bohemian neighbourhood. Hotel B is our favourite place for cocktails as you can see below.

On Monday we headed out to our piece of heaven at the beach and boy was it worth the wait. Just smelling the ocean is enough to bring tears to my eyes, and the flowers on the balcony are so pretty too.

I will keep you all up to date with our beach life!!

Great Skirts You Need Now |Rochas Layered Tulle Skirt |A Line Skirts|

I am enjoying wearing longer A line or full skirts at the moment and I always on the look out for a new one. These tulle skirts at Anthropologie sparked my interest!! and now I have a lot of potential new skirts.

I do believe that a full skirt makes a great alternative to a dress for a summer wedding, dinner or work. It is also much more versatile as you can dress them up or down with flats  or heels giving you a versatile wardrobe.

Loving these Tory Burch Embellished Sandals| Flat Embellished Sandals|

I have just spotted these on Shopbop and I love them! I can picture them now with tanned legs and shorts or a short ruffled skirt. They would also look great with boyfriend jeans or a simple midi skirt in fact anything where they are the star of the show.

There are few things better than a statement necklace to brighten and change the look of your outfit. This season there are hundreds out there,  they are all  over the the high street so there is no need to break the bank.

The ones I have chosen are all quite colourful as I am very conscious that I need them to brighten up all of my black work outfits.
