Reasons for and against Biker jacket v Aviator jacket

All of my thoughts have turned either my trip to Canada in October or Lima Dreaming at the end of December, two very different trips with very different weather.

I spotted this burgundy biker jacket by Zara the other day and I fell completely in love with colour. I am already planning outfits and deciding what bags would work with it.

My reasoning for my desperate need to buy this jacket is my trip to Canada. I an going to Vancouver Island so the weather shouldn’t be freezing at the end of October but it will be wet some days. I would team it with my new corduroy cap, also from Zara for a perfect combination for walks, play parks as I will be with my little munchkins.

The only downside to this jacket is the zip, I don’t know how i feel about the diagonal zip! I know this may seem trivial but I would rarely fasten it and this is why I like symmetry.

So, the question is should I opt for the Aviator jacket instead? It is only available in black but it gives perfect symmetry when open and the new cap would still work perfectly.   it would go over anything and everything ) It would also mean I could stick with my beautiful colourful bags (very important)

I do think I need to go to Zara and try them both on immediately.

I could add to the drama by including other jackets in the dilemma but at this price point it keeps it fun.

Outfit of the day with Zara a tweed jacket and a cap

I love everything about this outfit even though at 5’2″ I doubt the boots would work but the idea is cool.

It has the overall look of cross between Chanel and Vivian in Pretty Women, I like that!

The pair in the image aren’t available yet but this red pair is a great alternative.

London calling! two very hot happy shopping days

After spending the last two very  hot days in London I thought I would recap on my new loves for now and the new season (there are a few)

Harrods shoe heaven is always on my “must visit” list, they never fail me and I was lucky enough to find these little gems which have since sold out.

Valentino Rockstud slides £190 (I cant even find a link for them they have sold out everywhere)

I am always on the look out for the perfect crossbody bag and I find many that I like but there is always a but! On saturday whilst walking around Harvey Nichols I spotted a perfect crossbody by Marc Jacobs,. As soon as I picked it up I knew, the strap , the colour and the size were all spot on. This bag will serve me well both here and of course for Lima Dreaming.

I do love a hat both winter and summer whether it be a cap, beanie or a fedora and I was very lucky to fine two gorgeous options in Harvey Nichols.

I tried this felt cap in Harvey Nichols and I loved it but already my size is sold out.

I always try sunglasses when the opportunity arises and I always end up buying Rayban aviators. This time I actually tried and loved this pair from Victoria.

I do have quite a few pairs of Raybans but they are all gold framed and I really don’t think you can have too many pairs! so silver is the way forward  (silver or white frames with silver lenses) I did try a pair in Harvey Nichols but once again I failed to buy them.

The one thing that my trip helped me decide is my next tote bag and it is the Givenchy Antigona either the small or medium in grey (not the mini size)
