A Canadian adventure on Vancouver Island……

This is my third visit to the island and this time it is to help move house! Why would anyone want to move out of Oak Bay people may ask but it is to somewhere not far away and very pretty.

Apart from getting ready for the move there have been trips to parks, beaches, playgroups and shops of course,  although this trip isn’t about me!

This is the journey so far!

My Lima Life 5 Instalment|South American Travel|Winter Sun|

One of the areas I love most in Lima is Barranco, it has a real bohemian vibe.  I haven’t spent much time there yet on this trip but the King of Peru often cycles there very early in the morning and stops for a coffee. I have included some photos from his travels!

Today was a total beach day, it was gorgeous just chilling by the ocean. It was very hot so I had to venture into the waves a few times to keep cool and a very cold cusquena also helped!!

This morning we went to the local market for breakfast and I had a melon juice that tasted like heaven, it was amazing. If I could have one of those every day I would be very happy but they just dont taste the same at home!!

Finally today I wore my beautiful blue skirt it is by Charo Ruiz a designer based in Ibiza but it is stocked by Beachcafe I have been waiting for my legs to look tanned before I wore it, I didn’t want to waste it.

A few things that I am loving this week|Altuzarra for Target|Slogan Tees|

I have had a few moments this week where I have thought “I love that”, I am sure I do it all of the time but I thought I would share it all this time. Quite often I love it at that moment and then the next day I have moved on to something else but these have stayed on my wishlist.

I am always on the lookout for items to take on the annual trek to Lima and I love the Juliet Dunn silk dungarees, just perfect for laid back beach living.  I have also included a couple of photos that I love always and look at them often as they make me smile.

There are a few pieces that I would just love to add to my wardrobe especially the Whistles Navy Fedora and the Saint Laurent sunglasses, they would certainly add to my off duty wardrobe.

Altuzarra for Target Crepe De Chine Dress (in my favourite colour) £40 here I think this will look great in Lima with  a tan!

Saint Laurent Aviators £255 here These glasses will be perfect for home or away and they are so “cool”

Finds + Rejina Pyo Two Tone Faux Fur Coat £1350 here
