Take a one pair of white ankle boots and just add a pretty dress

I am without a doubt hooked on Chloe’s spring/summer collection. I really love the white boots (I may have mentioned this before!) and floaty dresses. All of my efforts have been focused on perfecting this look from the high street and these are the results.

My inspiration:

I would really really like white ankle boots for spring…..

White ankle boots (with a western touch) are officially my new mini obsession! I find myself searching for them everyday and constantly conjuring up even more outfits to wear with them.

Today I thought I was very clever as I found a pair by Kurt Geiger London reduced from £189 to £39 what a find and they are very cute.

There are obviously a few pairs out there to choose from and if the budget is large then this next pair are rather gorgeous.

Take two Whistles jackets both are versatile which one to choose?

With thoughts of my trip to Canada in April  already filling my head  it will come as no surprise to know  that I am wondering what to take with me!

I know the weather will be unpredictable but it will mild and although I will take my parka and I know I will need a lighter jacket.

In the last few days I have spotted two in Whistles and they will both work so well with jeans and over a sweatshirt/jumper in Canada.  I know they will also work over most of my clothes here and I am especially thinking of my playsuits.

Whistles Embroidered Utility Jacket £129 here

I do love this next one and I have already tried it on in store, the length and colour are perfect for me. The colour may just be a more versatile!

10 things you need from Ganni for your spring/summer wardrobe.

Ganni has passed in and out of my wardrobe fora few years but I am having a major love affair with them at the moment.

The styling is cool and price point is perfect.

I love to wear little dresses and ankle boots and this this little number is right at the top pf my list. It would look so good with Isabel Marant white cracked leather ankle boots. (I don’t have them yet but who knows what can happen!!)

Ganni Palmer Dress £140 here

Teamed with the perfect ankle boots

Isabel Marant Danay Boots £485 here

These next pieces work so well together but both are versatile in their own right. The jumper would easily become a wardrobe favourite and would replace my sweatshirt phase! Oh and the boots would work so well!

Ganni Muller Rollneck £330  here

Ganni Roseberg Printed Skirt £120 here

I do the next dress, it’s navy blue and the length and shape I love. I would definitely style this one with the boots. (fashion maths cost per wear etc)

Ganni Marceau Georgette Mini Dress £140 here

I do love a great white tee but they are never easy to find but this one looks just perfect. I would wear loads with one of many pairs of side striped pants .

Ganni Harway Tee Global Citizen £60 here

Ganni Dubois Track pants £130 here

I am not sure if it’s the colour or the dress or both! I love a midi dress and I do love sports luxe so this dress is spot on,  I could wear either my platform sneakers or the Isabel boots depending on the mood.

Ganni Dubois Woven Midi Dress £190 here

I do love a pale blue top for summer and this little blouse is so pretty, it would work so well the frilled skirt above and the jeans below. (Oh and those Isabel boots again)

I cannot leave without adding a pair of Ganni’s super cute sneakers, they would also work so well with everything. This pair are are exclusive to Mytheresa.com

My search for the perfect crossbody bag| Chloe mini Faye bag|

I must admit I find a perfect cross body almost on a weekly basis (very fickle) However this week I did fall for a Chloe and I do have a longstanding love of Chloe bags (at least 10 years and thats long!)

There are so many colours to choose from but these are favourites.

My search for the perfect jeans and pants, not easy!

As I am only 5’2″ I do struggle to find jeans and trousers that I love and that look good (proportion is everything).  This week I have been on an extensive search for both and my research I think has been very successful!

I did have an extra incentive as I am off to London on Thursday and I was looking for a casual outfit that would see me through the day (I know I have things I could have worn!)

My first task was jeans, I wanted then straight cropped but with a frayed hem oh and they had to be black! I love the pair I found at River Island (they are available in petite yeah) so much so I have ordered them in blue as well.

River Island Bella frayed hem jeans £42 here

I had only just found these jeans when I saw these Isabel Marant pants in Harvey Nichols (I always love a bit of Isabel).

Isabel Marant Weaver cropped pants £235 here

Decisions decisions! both would work so well with my intended outfit which also consists of  a black sweatshirt (Whistles of course) which I bought in store (House of Fraser)

Whistles Parisien sweatshirt £79 here

As my day will be spent walking I will also wear another of my in store purchases (House of Fraser)

Michael Kors Mindy Heart Lace Up Trainers £150 here

So which outfit will I be wearing? that will be the big question for me until Thursday., although if I wear my parka it will be jeans (too much khaki otherwise)

My weekly dreaming update, it maybe cold outside but……

This week has very dreary weather wise but my dreams have been full of sunshine (Think the tan helps) I just want to wear all of the new season clothes now.

My Saturday outfit (for personal shopping) certainly made me feel very summery and it felt amazing. I do love a Whistles dress but the shoes are heaven!

There have been quite a few things that have caught my eye during the week (as always) but this top by Michael Kors is my favourite. I did try it yesterday and I am a little bit obsessed by it, it just hangs perfectly.

I am always on the look out for jeans as I struggle to find both the style and fit I want. Luckily Zara have just emailed to say these skinny flares are available, now team these with the Michael Kors polka top I featured above. (cosmos, stars aligning, whatever I know its a sign)

Well I do believe that have shared enough of my dreams who knows how much will be a reality!!

Dresses! my pick of the new season day dresses…..

It all started yesterday I tried a Whistles dress that was too big for me but I knew the potential was huge. I did eventually find my size on line and I cannot wait to try it (the shoe possibilities are interesting).

This however piqued my interest and I decided that my work wardrobe needs a refresh and I love wearing dresses that I can team with ankle boots, sneakers or pretty shoes.

The dress that started the search

Whistles Scarf Print Dress was £169 now £80 here

This dress is much longer on me and I would style it differently! I am thinking my yellow Gucci loafers will look very cool.

My go to brands for dresses is always Whistles or Isabel Marant and this one is perfect.

My top 10 belt bags they are my new obsession…..

Belt bags or bum bags whatever you want to call them are having a new lease of life. I for one am totally obsessed although I will admit I am not sure how many times I would use one so I would be cautious with price point!!

I have searched the net this morning for my favourites and I have included all price points. You will have to admit that they are all very cute and would work over most outfits.

They may only be big enough for your phone, keys, cards and lip stick but what else do you need. I think for me it would be the hands free shopping (well until you have shopping bags) I really don’t enjoy taking a tote to town!

I will start with the one I am going to try myself!

What have I been dreaming about this past week?

Well as you will all appreciate the first week back at work after a holiday is strange especially when you arrive home in winter. I have the tan but it isn’t really the season to show it off!

Thankfully I do love my job and I am always happy to return to my personal shopping and all of the lovely clients that I see on a daily basis.

There was a lot of sadness in store as there have been few colleagues who have passed away and my week ended with the passing away of a wonderful aunt who was 91 but as my dad said to me don’t be sad just think of all the happy times you shared.

I have been on a wardrobe refresh mission this week but I am struggling to find pieces that I love (for work) however I did find these Michael Kors sneakers yesterday (House of Fraser), they are perfect for running around store all day and will work dresses, jeans and pants.

I will wearing them with an Isabel Marant dress tomorrow! (cant wait)
