My never ending love for Isabel Marant Danae boots…

The only ankle boots that I can run around store in all day everyday, and they look just as good with jeans as they do dresses.

I just found this black suede pair on Mytherea in the sale which is always good but fashion maths says that they probably cost pennies per wear.

Marc Jacobs snapshot shoulder bags but what colour?

I do love this bag it is probably as perfect as a cross body can get but what colour there are so many to choose from.

I think the straps caught my eye first I do love a woven strap.

The smaller size will fit a phone, card and keys which is just perfect for Lima Dreaming but the larger one will fit a few more essentials for everyday use. What a dilemma!

Then there are sparkles it is like a candy store.

Hunter waterproof jacket perfect for my Canadian adventure

I am currently researching waterproof coats ready for my trip to Canada at the end of October. My coat collection consists of parkas, wool coats and leather jackets none of which are entirely suitable for walks on the beach or trips to play parks with small twin boys.

The weather will be mild and wet and it’s not like I will be hiking in the Rockies!!

I think it just needs to keep me dry and look good with my jeans at the same time. (it has a hood, I love hoods)

This Hunter rubberised jacket ticks all of the boxes and is available in so many colours, my favourite is the dark green.

My new love and autumn wardrobe must have……

I have long since realised that having comfortable shoes for personal shopping is an essential (they must look fab though)

All summer I have lived in slides and sandals but I realise that cold toes may not be far away at all. With that in mind the thought process has started and it reads like this

“I have so many  pairs of pretty shoes and ankle boots that the thing I am missing is a pair of pumps that will go with anything and look cool. They must also be leather as anything else just makes my feet hot and then I won’t wear them anymore”

Today I think I found “the ones” whilst walking around the store (House Of Fraser) I tried them on and the leather is so soft and they looked so pretty!

Heels and flats 10 pairs of new season Mary Jane’s to love……

It is that time of year when all of my thoughts turn to a new season wardrobe. Today I am obsessing about shoes (nothing new there) that I can wear all day in store, personal shopping can be gruelling (in a wonderful way).

I alway love a Mary Jane shoe, they are so easy to walk in, the strap just adds a little more support.

For the past few weeks I have been looking  at these Kurt Geiger flats (obviously I have tried them) and I do love them but I have found a few alternatives!

KG Kurt Geiger Kingly Flats £119 here

The black suede with a jewelled strap make them perfect for winter wear.

I do have a very pretty pair of Miu Miu sparkly flat mary janes already but can you really ever too many pairs of Miu Miu’s

This midnight blue pair are just beautiful, but perhaps a little too high for walking all day.

Sticking with dark blue this velvet pair by Prada are pretty perfect with a great heel height.

My search for a navy jumpsuit I can wear everyday….

My work wardrobe needs a few new pieces and after searching for skirts and dresses that I can wear everyday (and failing) I have decided a new jumpsuit is the way forward.

One of my only requirements (apart from it bring navy) is pockets! I need somewhere to keep my swipe card. (vital)

Today I tried this navy jumpsuit from French Connection and it does look very nice. I have found another two potential candidates so I will try them all.

French Connection Esther Jumpsuit £110 here

This ones just beautiful, navy velvet what could you want.

“what else do you need” a thought provoking question.

It was early this morning when I was discussing my Lima Dreaming wardrobe with the King of Peru that he uttered the words “what else do you need” I immediately replied nothing because it is the correct answer in theory!

Yesterday I added two Mango playsuits to the mix and there is a Seafolly sundress waiting for me also but what else could complete my “Lima Dreaming” wardrobe .

Mango ruffle off the shoulder playsuit £25.99 here

I do have quite a few pairs of sandals but every year tradition dictates (I love traditions) I take a new pair of  Sophia Websters to add to the collection. These would go with everything and I could wear them for beach or city.

Sophia Webster Becky Gem slides £295 here

A new bikini is an essential addition every year but I always struggle to find bright colours in a style I like. This orange one is beautiful but I would mix and match it with other block colours. I have Heidi Klein bikinis that have been in Peru now for ten years and they always look as good as new.

Heidi Klein Folly Island balcony bikini £186 here

No trip is ever complete without a new hat, I already have a wall full of them but there is always room for another.

And now the Lima Dreaming wardrobe is complete!
