Fashion Online – Velvet by Graham and Spencer

I have been a long time fan of Velvet, I have a maxi dress that hangs in my wardrobe in Peru and I wear it year after year on our annual trip. The cotton jersey is gorgeous, it doesn’t cling and it drapes beautifully.

Last week I was lucky enough to view all of this season’s offerings and there are many pieces that will be joining my beloved maxi.

Again the cotton jersey feels very luxurious and the clothes look well made. I know they will all wash over and over again and never lose the look.

Being addicted to maxi dresses (you can never have too many is my philosophy) my 3 must haves are the Orville, Juanita and Tipper.

The Riona Shirt will look good with a tan and shorts (or no tan, it is gorgeous) Pictured here in orange, it will add a lovely pop of colour no matter how grey the day.

Keep away the chill with the Tallulah Sweater. Team it with a scarf and those summer evenings will be perfect.

There are plenty of casual day dresses to team with pretty sandals but my favourite is the Theana, pictured here in pink. I will wearing mine with flip flops.

The full collection will be available at www.matchesfashion.com soon.

  1. You are so cool! I do not suppose I’ve read something like that before. So great to discover someone with genuine thoughts on this subject matter. Seriously.. thanks for starting this up. This website is one thing that’s needed on the internet, someone with some originality!

  2. I’m really loving the theme/design of your website. Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility issues? A number of my blog readers have complained about my blog not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome. Do you have any solutions to help fix this problem?

    1. Hi there. Firstly, thank you for your kind comments about my website, they are very much appreciated.

We haven’t run into any compatibility issues as yet. I work on an iMac and therefore use mainly Safari, Chrome and Firefox. We haven’t experienced any issues with these browsers so far but I will definitely check the site on Explorer from a PC tomorrow. If I come across any solutions regarding compatibility I will definitely be in touch. Sorry I cant be more help at the moment.

  3. Admiring the time and effort you put into your blog and in depth information you present. It’s nice to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same outdated rehashed material. Great read! I’ve saved your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.
